The Lulworth Challenge
An annual event in Sept for the runners in the club; it is not compulsory. Lulworth which features a Jurassic coastline is situated between Weymouth and Swanage

A seven mile race over 7 peaks, two of which are so steep they cannot reasonably be ran up.
Can you do it though in less than an hour
This view captures perfectly the terrain of the run, the final peak and turn around point which is in the far distance. The record so far is 1 hr 2 min. Completing the coastal course is not in itself an issue, it's how fast you can do it, whether you can win and whether you can beat your previous years personal time; all very competitive and just as we like it.
